Oh, so sad and with just the perfect title. I've mused at Spike's folly throughout this series, but I haven't really ached for him. I do here. Poor lad, destined in your world to be lost without Dru.

The dream was beautifully rendered. I love triads when done well, and this one is fantastic. ...the blood that made him, the blood that healed him, the blood that always tasted of home... This entire sequence moves with a different tone and speed than the segment before with Angel, although the beginning is somehow no less haunting.
