Jesse and Willow growing up a bit faster than Xander. Cool and certainly fits well into canon. I liked the look at Jesse's family as well and it's nice that they were willing to take Xander under their wings. Be interesting to see more of Jesse; I was disappointed he died so early in the series.
I particularly like how the kids look at "don't shout on the streets after dark" as the same type of thing as "step on a crack and you'll break your mother's back." Lovely insight.
