It's always struck me as the most accelerated period in growing up, with some kids running ahead, while others lagged behind. I'm glad that worked for you. Jesse always struck me as someone who came from a big family, something about his relaxed awkwardness. And I'm glad you liked the cracks in the sidewalk thing. It was one of my favourite lines.
