This read really well in beta and it reads wonderfully now. I also like the little tweaks you've made, they work really well. Like lit_gal, I love the pacing of the intercut between the boys and Giles and Amy. The shorter and shorter sections really give it a sense of urgency and I agree, you find yourself reading faster and faster - very clever!
