I have never done a challenge, or a fest, or anything like that, except the two years on tamingthemuse.

30,000 words suddenly seems like an awful lot. But I've got until August, so it will be alright. Right?

I signed up as a beta, too, since they only have a few volunteers so far. I think I might be crazy *g*

Oh wow! Go you!! I will be looking forward to reading it :D :D And I'm sure everyone on your flist will keep you motivated with pom poms and pictures of sad!merlin (everytime you lose motivation, Merlin cries. It's a FACT).

Of course, yes, August *is* ages away. *stares and calendar and avoids counting*
It will be my first long Merlin story and I am a bit worried about that idea. I know the BtVS canon and characters so well, I don't worry about writing them, but Merlin is still so new, even though I've been reading the fanfic for ages.
Thanks for the encouragement. *girds loins* Okay, I can do this. Because crying Merlin? No! We can't have that.
