Hmmm. I was all ready to take him straight to Sunnydale, but then the prompt arrived and he decided to stay in LA for a bit. I was quite glad, because he didn't survive to be 120 by being incompetent, so I was glad of a chance to have a plan work for him. Thank you for the comment about him spotting the car. That head tilt is *so* quintessentially Spike, isn't it.
