I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] fall_for_sx and today is my posting date, so I have revisited the boys who were my first fandom love.

Title: Exodus
Rating: G
Summary: In the aftermath of The Gift, Spike and Xander are leaving town.
Warnings: Angst. Major Character Death.
Note: I'm really not into angst, but I guess it's like going on the rollercoaster - you have to do it once.
Betaed by [livejournal.com profile] sparrow2000, for which, many, many thanks.

Title: Becoming

Prompt: 110-Necrotizing fasciitis at [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse

Rating: Safe for anyone (except [livejournal.com profile] shapinglight. You wouldn't anyway, but don't read this, hon. It'll only get your blood pressure up *g*)

Summary: Spike's thoughts and actions, built around the words spoken by and to him at the end of season 6.

Dialogue borrowed courtesy of http://www.twiztv.com/scripts/

Note: This grew from a meta I did about Spike and his soul, here.

Posted early because I'm going to WriterconUK tomorrow. Back on Sunday.

Title: Everything they touch
Prompt: 108 - Dead at the wheel
At: [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse
Rating: PG
Word Count: 1,670
Summary: I googled the phrase 'Dead at the wheel' and in with the stories of a shooting in Liverpool was this article from The New York Times, dated Saturday 6th April 1907. This story is inspired by that one. Names have been changed to protect the innocent (and because I really doubt that Spike and Dru were actually there *g*).
Note: I also googled and googled for information on the locks in place on the Ohio River in 1907, but couldn't get a fix on their location. So if you happen to know that I've placed mine wrongly, I would love to be told.

My question earlier in the week, about spelling, garnered more comments than any story I've written. Are y'all trying to tell me something there? *g* (kidding, okay?)

I've been off work this week and this here is my 100th consecutive post to [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse. I think I might bow out, once I get my two years in. It's been fun, but I fancy the luxury of having more than a day to write, so I can polish up my stories a bit, at least for a while.

I had never heard the expression 'Bait and Switch' but the ever reliable Wikipedia came to the rescue: A bait and switch is a form of fraud in which the fraudster lures in customers by advertising a good at an unprofitably low price, then reveals to potential customers that the advertised good is not available but that a substitute good is.

Title: Masquerade
Fandom: BtVS
Prompt: #13 - Bait and Switch
At: [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse
Warnings: Implied character death.
Rating: Pg
Summary: Angelus comes home and he has plans. What if he'd really been as clever as he should have been?
Otherwise known as playing with the conversation between Spike and Angelus, when Angelus first comes back to his family in season 2.
Notes: Some dialogue borrowed and adapted from BtVS Episode 2:14. Innocence, Part 2

I'm not sure about this one. I've been full of cold all week. In fact as I read my flist, so many people seem to have been ill, feverish and just plain under the weather, that I am rethinking the whole computer virus concept.

I am playing 'spot the prompt' again, but with different rules this time.

Title: Fag Ends
Fandom: BtVS
Prompt: #9 - Crazy Glue
Warnings: None
Rating: Pg
Summary: More musing
