Note:sparrow2000 pointed out to me a rule of the road in America, about not being allowed to park against the traffic. So, rather than re-write this whole scene, I went back and added one phrase to the end of chapter 2, so that it is clear that the car Dru is pushing Xander towards is pulled up against the curb, facing the wrong way for the traffic.
