Stands up and claps. As Spike might say - that was bloody brilliant, love.

So many little touches gave this chapter so much texture. Xander's concern about which way Spike would approach Flavia, Spike wanting to squeeze Xander's shoulder, but settling for the manly punch. Both boys cleaning their weapons as a form of macho meditation.

I love that Spike is actually less cynical than Xander about Flavia's sense of honour. At the oddest times, William does shine through.

And now Spike knows about the braclet, and Xander chose to do in the most public way possible. I'll see you at home," Yay! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Lovely use of the prompt, love. I can just hear Xander saying that. And the poem was just perfect, and so was this chapter.
