But that is what I love about Joss'verse fic - when a writer catches the voices, without directly quoting from the scripts, when they catch the essence and use their own words in that idiom (is that the word I am looking for?) it is wonderful.
btw - Sparrow and I might have a bit in common, but I refute any suggestion (which I acknowledge you have not made) that it is a British thing *grin*
