Wow. Such beauty out of a stark reality. I loved your incorporation of so many meanings of the word. She's a very real character and don't ever worry about not following a certain fandom. I've written two different original fics and a series of GundamWing for this community, so I completely understand following where the muse leads. I'd wish mine would stop leading me by the nose ... This piece reminds me of a project I did in my history class for the war. I might have to go back and find that to share with you, just to compare perspectives of the war. Yours is very bleak, but it's removed. She's obviously looking back and rememebering, which gives a reassurance of something on the other side. I look forward to reading more of yours.
