New Territory

So now I have a LJ, what do I do with it? - No, I'm really asking.

Problem is, problem with even asking the question is, that no one knows I am here. So this is like a message in a bottle thrown into the sea. It might end up in Norway or Fiji and be found by a fugitive desperate for contact (they would have to be English speaking too, so that rules out a lot of the inhabitants of the French Pacific – damn, that sounded so romantic for a moment) or it could end up buried in a mud bank in Morecombe Bay or the Tees estuary covered in sludge and home to barnacles.

I guess I upload my stories.

Drifters part 1

Not only my first fan-fic, but also my first fic of any sort (I *really* don't count the stuff they made me write for 'O' Level English Language, at school).
I posted this to m-mslashaholics in April 2005. It is very tame compared to the stuff I wrote later, but it was a first, so I had to be gentle with myself.
And this is where I find out how long a post can be, since trying to post the whole thing just failed. Hey, I'm learning stuff.

I wrote this drabble immediately after seeing the final episode of the first series of Dr Who. Must have been sometime in 2005.
It doesn't have much to recommend it, except for major spoilers and a certain spontaneity, so Im hiding it behind a cut.

Puzzeled, but persisting

I could just do this. Load up the stories I’ve written. But it’s not very creative is it? They are all in The Attic and at The Island and at WWOMB.

I am writing 3 other stories at the moment. One is in the process of being beta’d by wonderful, lovely, fantastic and more importantly, grammatically correct, Maggie. It’s a new story set in the Observations world. The other 2, well they are just sketched out concepts at the moment. I’ll get to them once the other is out of the way. What? I should be able to walk *and* chew????
