...for persistence. For writing a story or a chapter, every Saturday for two years.

I got to choose the goddess I wanted in the inset panel on the blue one and I chose Tara, because, well, partly because of BtVS. But mainly because, although she isn't strictly speaking a goddess, she is a tantric deity and according to Wikipedia she "represents the virtues of success in work and achievements". *g*

I mean no disrespect to any Buddhists by this choice. Tara is also a manifestation of Avalokitesvara, Kwannon and Kuan Yin, and means a lot to me.

So I am retiring from

tamingthemuse now. At least, for a while. I learnt a lot from the discipline of writing every bloody Saturday, but I do write better when I have time to work through more than one draft. I won't be posting every week, in future, but I am still writing. It'll just be slower and hopefully better crafted as a result. I hope you'll hang around. You can be sure I won't clutter up your flists in the meantime.
