So far, I have only uploaded my longest stories in pdf format for use on mobile readers.

Each story comes in an A4 version and also in an A5 version, which I think is better for small reading screens.

EDIT: With the US government action in closing the Megaupload site, these link have become useless. However, I am leaving them here for now, in case the site is restored.

Until I find a new host, if you want a copy of any of these pdfs, feel free to email me at maztodaygonetomorrow[at]hotmail[dot]co[dot]uk stating whether you want the A5 or the A4 version, and I'll send them to you.

Thanks for reading.

Also, any recommendations for an alternative hosting site would be welcome.

Click on the link for the file you want to download and it will take you to the megaupload site. You will have to enter a CAPTCHA code - that's the picture of random letters and numbers you see on many sites, that confirms you are not a robot.

You might need to wait a few seconds for the 'Regular Download' button to appear. That's the one you want.

Merlin Story

**Line of Dance is 43,000 words. It was written for the 2011 Merlin Bigbang, at [livejournal.com profile] paperlegends. Arthur has come to the throne. He needs to establish himself and demonstrate his difference from his father. Too soon, a murder changes everything and Arthur has to go to war.
Warnings: Mention of the rape and murder of a female OC, description (but not depiction) of medieval justice/punishment, minor character death in battle.

BtVS Stories

**Bewitched is a little over 123,000 words in 38 chapters. It is a Spike/Xander story that starts in season 2, as the name suggests, during the episode called Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered. When Valentine's Day arrives, Dru dips her finger in the brew and gives it a stir. The consequences don't finish consequencing until the equivalent of the end of season 4.

**Blood on a Sundial is 98,000 words in 44 chapters. It is a story about Spike and Xander and how their relationship grows, but I don't know if it would be called slash. Maybe it's pre-slash. *g*
Spike accidentally kidnaps Xander and they end up going on a road trip.

**Ice-cream is 101,000 words in 42 chapters, set about six months before Buffy arrives in Sunnydale. Xander's life is changed radically when vampires invade it.
This is a Vampire-Xander story and contains slash.

If there are any other stories you would like me to upload, feel free to ask here.

If there is anything wrong with any of the above, please do let me know. The ToR say that files will be deleted after a certain amount of time, but I can always put them up again if you tell me a link is broken.

If you know a better option than megaupload (which I selected simply because I have seen others use it) I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

Ice-cream d/l perfectly and is sitting happily on my e-reader. Blood on a Sundial also seems fine.

megaupload is used by most people I know as an all-purpose site. It certainly worked a treat here.

Good, I'm so glad. Thanks for telling me.
I've actually had to reload Ice Cream, because I realised last night that I had forgotten to credit [livejournal.com profile] laazikaat for the late and wonderful beta job she did on it. (I was horrified by the number of typos that had slipped past me *g*)

Look at you being all techy, I am impressed!

I dropped the E-Reader into conversation the other night - the seed is now planted *g*

*laughs* It did take most of the day, though.
Good for you. Occasional watering and it should bear fruit. *g*

I have already constructed ebooks of fav fiction to use on my pda. It is nice to be able to curl in a comfy chair with a box of chocs while reading a great fic. It is great that you are embracing the tech and saving me time so I can read even more fics!!
Thanks for you efforts.

I love the technology! I have just acquired an e reader and am looking forward to a future without printing (and without the resultant reams of paper to hauled up to the re-cycle station). I hadn't realised. Seeing the technology really brought it home to me how things were changing. (My mobile phone has a dot matrix screen *g*)

What a great idea. I don't think I've ever read "Ice Cream."

Thanks. If you do, I hope you enjoy it.
If you don't want to download the pdf (which is not really formatted for printing out), the story starts here (http://thismaz.livejournal.com/23688.html) in LJ

I've heard of e-readers but I'm not familiar with them at all, can you recommend a nice simple one?

I don't know much about them, but as far as I can tell, there are two main ones on the market - The one I have just come to love is the Sony PRS-505 Reader. Wikipedia, here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Reader - says that the major competitors to it are, quote: the Amazon Kindle, iRex iLiad, the Jinke Hanlin eReader, and CyBook by Bookeen.
The Sony will read rtf files, as well as pdf, so you can read fanfiction on it. I don't know about the others.

Apparently many people are now reading fanfic on i-phones, PDAs and other such devices too, where pdf works better.

[livejournal.com profile] kazzy_cee did a talk at writercon UK in 2007 about making websites more accessible, she developed on that theme at this year's meeting. (You can see her talks at the [livejournal.com profile] writerconuk LJ, if you are interested, although they are about readability and layout, not e reader devices.) The thing was, both she and [livejournal.com profile] kitty_poker1 had one with them and I fell in love. *g*

I think I will have to get one, I'm developing a lust for the Sony model after all I'm reading about it.

I have sold [livejournal.com profile] sparrow2000 on the idea too. *g*
I am doing an experiment re font size and will let you know the results in a moment (on your LJ post).

Both versions of BoaS have been TOS'd from Megaupload, which bums me out because I was trying to download it tonight. *sniff*

You might want to try http://box.net instead of megaupload. The lite option allows for 1GB of storage space and 25MB file size limits. Also, no captcha is required.

Bloody hell. Thanks for telling me, because otherwise I'd never have known.
I'll look into that, over the weekend.
Meanwhile, if you want to PM me with an email address, I'll send you whichever size version you want, as an attachment.

That was weird. It was like the LJ post had reset to the original one, with the megaupload URLs that existed the first time I up loaded them, before I got the beautiful front cover from [livejournal.com profile] katekat1010.
I have edited the proper links back in and hopefully it will work again now.
I know that doesn't matter for you, but I am putting this comment in, in case anyone else has trouble. Thank you for letting me know.
I hope that anybody else who has problems, will also tell me.

Thank you for letting me know. I'll look into it at the weekend. Meanwhile, if you want to PM me an email address to which I can send an attachment, I would be happy to send you either the A5 or the A4 version of the pdf (*g* or both, if you like).

I just checked and the download was almost immediate. Can I just check something with you? Did you wait the few seconds for the 'Regular Download' button to appear, or did you try using the 'Premium Download' button?
I ask because I am wondering if I need to add a line or two to the instructions in this post.
I hope you enjoy Bewitched, now that you have it.
