There is no doubt this community comes up with a variety of questions. This week we are going medical *g*

1. Do you take any daily prescription medications?
No. Thankfully I am pretty healthy and have so far avoided such a need.

2. Do you take any daily OTC (over the counter) medications?
Again, no, not daily. I have mild hay fever and occasionally take antihistamines in the summer, just to stop my eyes stinging, but that is all.

3. Do you take vitamins?
Not daily, mostly because I forget to buy them. I take Vitamin C when I think I might be getting a cold and because I know I don't eat enough fresh fruit and veg, although I know they are not an infallible (or even a very effective) prophylactic. But I like the taste *g*

4. When you are sick, do you take OTC remedies or immediately go to your doctor?
The only time I go to the doctors' is to see the nurse for my scheduled smear test. I can't actually remember the last time I was sick, other than getting a cold and really there is nothing a doctor can do for that. OTC Cold Relief tends to reduce the symptoms and then it is just a matter of waiting it out. Having said that, however, I do hope I haven't jinxed myself. Oops!

5. Do you take aspirin?
And again, no. I don't like to take medicines if I don't have to and would rather suffer through a headache than take aspirin. I don't think I would feel the same if I got bad headaches or migraines, though. I have a friend who suffers terribly from migraines and hate seeing it and being unable to do anything to help.

Well, that was fun. I suppose I ought to go and start on my weekend tasks, now. I hope you are all having an enjoyable Saturday. *wanders off making a mental list of things to do*

Today I am recovering *g* From gardening yesterday. To understand the grin, you need to know that my garden is no bigger than a few square yards in the area in front of my house. I think the stiffness is more to do with carrying 2 big bags of compost home, than the actual gardening. But my little beds are now all neat, tidy and replenished with good compost, ready for spring. I, on the other hand, am walking like an old woman :-)

I hope you are well and possibly having a quite weekend for a change?

They are saying we should take vitamin D for cold prevention now aren't they as most of us are deficient during the dark winter months.

Yeah, I heard that as well. I went and bought myself some multivitamins yesterday, just in case. Although I doubt I'll remember to keep that up as a resolution *g*
